Yeah I need no icons to show my love for Supernatural. It is unhealthy how much I love this show and God help me I want to do such dirty things to Castiel, Or watch while Dean does, Come on you must see where I'm coming from. Hi guys I know it's been awhile since you've heard from me but I have a really good reason I promise!
My old comp is well... it's more or less dead. And as today is Christmas you can see where I'm going with this right I got a new laptop today and I'm currently going through the motions of downloading everything and setting things up you know how it goes.

I'm watching Supernatural right now and as much as I love the show and everything the way they are saying Samhain is hurting my poor Irish ears. It's not pronounced how it's spelt okay?

I totaly fail at posting to my damn lj I also fail at leaving comments on posts I mean I think being a lurker just comes far to naturally to me.
Anyway if I haven't commented on stuff it's because the f-list is something I also fail at my F-list is so full of comms I really should stop watching that I miss all the good stuff from friends journals.

Nearly everyday something happens and I think "TO LJ I SHALL POST ABOUT THIS!" and I really go mean to but guh distractions I'm going to try harder promise.

Halloween tomorrow means I really should be more excited than I am right now but meh. I'm not really in the spirit this year that said I'll still end up having a great day tomorrow hanging out with friends and watching movies. I guess I just miss being able to dress up and fill myself with candy.

In other news :
I finished reading Watchmen and have decided I really need to head into Limerick and buy myself some more Graphic Novels and ordinary novels for that matter I'm fast running out of reading material. Any suggestions?

Random Watchmen poster anyone?

My internet just stopped working no explanation just gone! I went into fucking withdrawl guys. It's made me realise I'm far to addicted to the web but instead of doing something like actually trying to curb the addiction I decided to cling to my shiny new modem and pet it and make it promise never to break and make me go through that again.

The net on my phone just doesn't cut it because while I could keep up with some fic I couldn't comment or even bloody log in.

I'm so behind on my shows because of this though I do plan on serious catch up forget about that 4 page History Essay I have to write it can wait.

Okay I can't even think enough to write anymore I need to catch up with Supernatural, Criminal Minds and Heroes (Ps. Hey Zach Quinto any chance of you stopping with being totaly gorgeous? It's uber distracting)

The aforementioned fandom is House, I'd occasionally watched the show in the past but it being on Hallmark which I never make the effort to check up on meant I tended to miss it that and my father's hatred of medical shows.
I decided recently though that I was going to get into it if only to show some Hugh Laurie love.
On Sunday which is apparently House day on Hallmark I watched maybe 4 hours of it then proceeded to watch it online for oh a few hours a day every day since then?

Needless to say I'm highly obsessed by now and when I get involved in a show it's rare that a pairing doesn't follow, there are a few notable exceptions such as Prison Break, Reaper and Desperate Housewives (Though I did read some Andrew/Justin when Justin was still around and before Andrew became such a background character What's up with that DH?)

Anyway my icon probably says it all for me, House/Wilson oh thou art such a snarky sweet pairing I could not resist even if my taste does lie in mostly pre or mild slash where you are concerned.

In other news I was going to write a Heroes review but I've passed from Squee to thoughtful mulling over of plot and right back to Squee again so that's not going to happen in brief I really enjoyed it because yeah Sylar was kick ass and spoiler at the end (which half of fandom had guessed or at least wrote in fic Way to go fandom!) was really well done I think.

I don't think my f-list actually cares about Heroes but I needed to do this anyway just because GAH YOU MUST WATCH THE VERY END!

So yeah it's late I can't sleep and I'm starting a whole new school year tomorrow. I'm terrified, I made the choice of skipping a year and I'm happy because I've got friends in the new year I'm going into but also scared because for the friends I do have there's going to be so many people I don't know.
That and my friends from my old year have spent months trying to make me feel guilty about abandoning them apparently not notice how much it upset we when they do.

On another note new journal layout :D and a new header that I snagged from canadian_turtle as well as three new Heroes Icons.

I've been reading a horrible amount of Mylar over the last few days and if you're into that pairing at all I demend you to check out levitatethis's wonderful fics. She has this awe inspring future verse where they are working together and some many fics that just Get everything that makes the pairing so amazing in the right hands. It's not smut either it's all delicious sexual tension and amazing character introspection.

Yes I am bored and up far to early well actually I haven't gone to bed yet but I'm dressed now so no going back to bed.

I have decided I would mix my love for The Master (And John Simms facial expressions) with my rage that it is still Friday and thus is not Saturday!

I honestly hadn't realised it been so long since I was on *hangs head in shame*
I put the blame on exam stress which seriously messed me up but by the time I got to the actual exams I was so unstressed I wasn't even me anymore (I'm a worrier by nature it's just what I do)
Lucky they are now over and it's time for the summer (thank you lord) which means stalking fic writers ljs and making icons for all the world to see and go "oh right they're okay I guess"

So it's pretty late right now I thought it would be the best time to talk about my newest obessions.

1. - The Big Bang Theory - This show speaks to the geek in me, which means it speaks to all of me on a deep meaningful level. It's amazing and just far to funny for me to do justice to with any sort of review but may I just say WATCH IT! I might have a little marathon myself after this post. ( I need a Sheldon icon)

2. - Afterelton.com - This site is a site that's full of gay news and the most awesome articles and reviews, The Angry Puppy Blog for example geeky yes brillant also yes. ( you should check out their site to while you're at it www.theangrypuppy.com)
I'll share with you this article about gay musicans which I found incredibly interesting as I do with most stuff on the site. Male Musicains Straddle the closet.
It also has Torchwood and Brothers and Sisters recaps And info on As The World Turns (we'll get to As the World Turns in a minute.)

3. - Luke & Noah - And we arrive at As The World Turns which is an American soap I watch over god old youtube, Well I say watch really I'm just following the Luke & Noah story.
As The World Turns handling of their realtionship has been less then amazing considering the lack of on screen affection they show between the two despite the fact that herteosexual realtionships are seen kissing all the time.
There's also contrived plot devices to keep them from PDA's but before you think I'm here to bash it totaly I really am addicted to The Luke & Noah storyline and this is a soap so those flaws are to be expected and they did share a very nice kiss recently and fan reaction may sway the producers into making this happen more often so things might be looking up.
